How to download your Tangerine statements
PDF BETA · OFX SAFERPDF (beta) and OFX (recommended).
Tangerine offers monthly PDF statements and an OFX download. Chequing and savings are separate accounts and each needs its own import.
Steps
- 01Web login → Documents → Statements for the monthly PDF.
- 02Or Transactions → Download → OFX format.
- 03Drop either file into Pare.
Worth knowing
Tangerine savings and chequing parse through different handlers. If you hold both, import them separately so each account gets its own balance anchor.
What Pare does with it
Drop the file into Pare and it parses the transactions locally, categorises them, and builds spending trends, budgets and a cash-flow forecast. Uploaded PDFs are deleted the moment they're parsed, and Pare never asks for your bank login. You can also self-host it so the data never leaves your machine.
