How to download your Scotiabank statements

PDF BETA · OFX SAFERPDF (beta) and OFX/QFX (recommended).

Scotia OnLine keeps eStatements under Documents. The Scotiabank PDF parser is a scaffold, so the OFX/QFX export is the more reliable first import.

Steps

  1. 01Scotia OnLine → your account → Documents → eStatements for the PDF.
  2. 02Or export the account activity as OFX/QFX (Money/Quicken format).
  3. 03Drop either file into Pare.
Go to Scotiabank login ↗

Worth knowing

Scotiabank labels the export format “Money” or “Quicken” depending on the account type — both are OFX under the hood and both work.

What Pare does with it

Drop the file into Pare and it parses the transactions locally, categorises them, and builds spending trends, budgets and a cash-flow forecast. Uploaded PDFs are deleted the moment they're parsed, and Pare never asks for your bank login. You can also self-host it so the data never leaves your machine.
